Tickets to AAMI Stradbroke Day can be purchased at the gate on the day of the event. General admission is $25.
Times
Gates will open at 9am
The first race will be run at approximately 12:15pm
Travelling by train - the fastest and easiest way to get to the track!
Ascot station is situated adjacent to Eagle Farm, with direct access to the racecourse. Catch the Doomben line train from Roma Street, Central or Brunswick Street stations.
Travelling by bus
Getting to the track: catch bus 300 or 301 from Adelaide Street, City. Both routes stop outside the main entrance to Eagle Farm
Getting from the track: free BCC buses to the Valley and City will depart from Lancaster Road, outside the Main Gates
Road Closures: The following roads surrounding Eagle Farm will be closed between 3pm and 7pm - Lancaster Road from Charlton to Vine, Racecourse Road from Beatrice Terrace. There will be traffic controllers positioned along Racecourse & Lancaster Roads between 10am and 2pm.
Travelling by ferry
The City Cat operates down river to Bretts Wharf. It is approximately a 10 minute walk along Racecourse Road to the main entrance of Eagle Farm (about 800m).
Travelling by car
Turn off Kingsford Smith Drive on to Nudgee Road. Free parking is accessible bythe Eagle Farm entrance off Nudgee Road. A shuttle bus service will operate at regular intervals between the Nudgee Road carpark and the main entrance turnstiles between 9am and 5:30pm
Disabled parking: There are allocated parking spaces in the main Nudgee Road car park. This parking is close to the main entrance.
Taxis: A taxi rank is located outside the main entrance on Lancaster Road
General information
Eagle Farm Racecourse is a licensed venue. Patrons are not permitted to bring alcohol on to the racecourse at any time, nor are patrons permitted to leave the racecourse with alcohol at any time. The venue reserves the right to inspect bags, picnic baskets and eskies.
Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult exercising parental type supervision at all times. Children are also not permitted in certain bars at the racecourse. Phone 3268 2171 for more details.
